Add the Chat Widget to Your Framer Site

This guide shows you how to embed the CatchWhen chat widget into your Framer site. You'll paste the embed code through Framer's custom code settings. No plugins required.

Copy your CatchWhen embed code

Navigate to your Dashboard page and click the Install tab in the left menu. You'll see a code snippet on the screen. Click the Copy button.

Open your Framer project

Sign in to your Framer website and head to your project dashboard. Click on the website project you wish to embed the chat widget on.

Open the Framer menu

In the editor, click the Framer icon in the top left corner. A menu will appear.

Go to Site Settings and Custom Code

In the menu, hover over Site Settings. A submenu will appear. Click on Custom Code.

Click Add Script

On the Custom Code page, click the Add Script button.

Paste your embed code

Give the script any name you'd like (for example, "Chat widget"). Paste your copied embed code into the Code field and leave the other settings as they are. Click Add when you're done.

Publish your site

Click the Publish button in the top right corner. Once your site is live, the chat widget will appear in the bottom right corner of your website.

Customizing Your Website Agent

You can customize the appearance of your Website Agent on the CatchWhen dashboard. Click the tab in the left menu to reveal the appearance and chat interface options.
